지난번에 작성했던 'Philippe Graffin, Claire Desert - In the Shade of Forests' 음반에 대해 작성하다가 생각난 음반이다. "When Debussy died on March the 25 1918 in Paris, It was being bombarded by the Germans, And it was raining."이라는 대사와 pour le Piano의 두번째 악장인 Sarabande 가 함께하여 시작되며(이건 8번트랙인 'The Holy Egoism Of Genius'에서도 사용된다), "Il pleure dans mon coeur Comme il pleut sur la ville"(It rains in my heart As it rains on the town) 라는 부분이 반복되는, 고전음악을 현대음악으로 재창조 해낸 걸작이다. 빠른 비트에도 불구하고 원곡의 감성을 충분히 재현해내는 그들에게서 역시 '샘플링'의 대가-요즘같이 샘플들을 귀간지럽게 붙여넣는것이 아닌-의 모습을 엿볼 수 있었다. 아래에 Paul Verlaine의 시, Il Pleure dans mon Coeur의 영문해석을 첨부해본다.
