유명 DJ들의 일렉 음악 믹스(radio) 정리

어제 Dyro가 Radio Show(1~2시간 정도의 정기적 믹스를 이렇게 부른다)를 출시한 기념으로, 여러 DJ들이 꾸려오던 Radio들에 대해 정리해보기로 하였다. radio의 좋은 점은 엄선된 음악을 인터넷 상에서(대개 soundcloud나 mixcloud) 무료로 들을 수 있다는 것이고, radio를 발표한다는 것은 아티스트 스스로가 대중성과 실력을 갖췄다는 자신감을 상징한다. 급변하는 일렉트로닉 음악세상에서 트렌디한 음악을 찾아 헤맬 필요 없이 편리하게 들을 수 있다는것은 리스너에게 있어 엄청난 매력이다.

본문의 발단이 된 Dyro는 ‘Dyro presents Daftastic Radio’를 발표하었으며, https://soundcloud.com/dyromusic 에서 들을 수 있다. 한국 시간으로 일요일 2시부터(Saturday from 12 PM ET) 한시간동안 진행된다. “Since my first release back in 2011 my goal has been to expand my sound to a global audience and further share my passion for this music with other electronic music fans around the world. Launching my own radio show is the natural step in that dream and I’m incredibly excited to have my slot on the mighty SiriusXM to showcase new music from artists and producers I love and respect, as well as play listeners the newest music coming out of my own studio”

그외 주목할 만한 것으로 BBC Radio 1 이 있으며, 특히 BBC Radio 1's Residency, BBC Radio 1's Essential Mix와 Diplo and Friends가 있다. 프로그램 홈페이지는 http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01gnklz, http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b006wkfp, http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01dmw90 이며, 각각 현지시간으로 금요일 오전 0시, 토요일과 일요일 오전 1시에 방송된다. 물론 mixcloud에서도 지난 음악들을 들을 수 있다. 왠지 라이브로 들으면서 듣는것은 그냥 듣는것과는 느낌이 사뭇 다르다. 

그리고 이번에 조사하다가 edmtunestv에서 많은 음악가들의 라디오를 한데모아 제공하는것을 알게되었다. 그간 각기 다른곳에서 신보? 체크하느라 귀찮았는데 잘됐다. https://soundcloud.com/edmtunestv 이며, 아래에 대표적인 아티스트를 나열해 보았다(사실 다른 아티스트는 잘 몰라서). 트랜스 시절부터 챙겨들었던 future sound of egypt 와 ASOT, club life를 다시보니 반갑다.
